Coming off a quiet surprise release with the mixtape Fly God Is an Awesome God 2 , Westside Gunn returns to promo mode for his magnum opus Pray For Paris with a visual for the track “Allah Sent Me” featuring his cousins Benny The Butcher and Conway The Machine with production coming by way of Daringer.Director The Wizard opts for a classic Black and White filter,opting for a red Lamborghini Urus to be the only thing in color (possibly being related to the groups mob ties). The video follows a day-in-the-life story of a hustling protagonist where he wakes up to give thanks to Allah, rolling out a Yves Saint Laurent prayer mat and is shown being a family man before steps outside to his double life. From there Westside Gunn is shown for a few frames while his contemporaries are not present at all.
As Westside Gunn has been in kill mode this whole year in a recent interview, he detailed he has more in store. Gunn announced that he’s finalizing his next studio album already titled Who Made the Sunshine with a release planned for later this year.
